This website is actively being used for phishing attempts. This website is impersonating "potato.tf", an established gaming community for Team Fortress 2. More than one person has unfortunately already fallen for this.

This URL is being used to impersonate https://potato.tf/ and trick users into logging into it with their Steam accounts, in order to steal their credentials and potentially in-game items tied to their account.

Hello, The domain potatotf.com is currently being used for phishing activity. The site is pretending to be “potato.tf”, a long-standing Team Fortress 2 gaming community. A coordinated group of scammers has recently begun purchasing look-alike domains to deceive users into revealing their Steam account login information. Once obtained, the attackers drain victims’ accounts of valuable in-game items and sell them for real money. Potato.TF is asking its community to help take down these impersonation sites, and I’m submitting this report on their behalf. The page scammers most frequently mimic on the Potato.TF website has now been replaced with guidance on how to report these fake sites: https://potato.tf/matchmaking A similar scheme was used against FACEIT.com, a major company known for its Counter-Strike matchmaking services, and it is possible the same group is responsible.
